Excerpt - Chapter 10 Perception and Duality
Nevertheless, can you imagine how the world would be without bad or evil existing? Everything, that exists on the planet simply being good, pure, and pleasurable, without the existence of any negativity. If all that existed on the planet were good without any evil, with no negative acts ever occurring, how would we perceive life? There would be no wars, no military, no crime, no police, no lawyers, no disputes, no courts, no fires, no firefighters, no paramedics, no emergencies, no disease, no doctors, no health organizations, no insurance companies, no charities, no entity needed to counteract evil, no negativity, and no help agencies. Society would have a fundamentally and radically different structure; a world without any emotions, it would perpetuate a totally and extraordinarily different perception of life. We would have lost our individuality without the existence of emotions, in a society without bad or evil, which are the common denominators for virtually all-negative emotions without their opposites. The nonexistence of negativity would also mean the nonexistence of love, peace, and joy, without their comparisons to distinguish differences. Emotions would be virtually non-existent without their opposites. Members of the human race would likely function in virtually an identical manner. All people, in effect, would be the same in demeanor and attitude. Any emotion remaining would be infinitesimal and unnoticeable and would achieve little difference in people’s performance—hence, no individuality.
